Catharine says: “Carol graduated from the highly regarded Kansas City Art Institute and began her career at the Boston firm Selame Design (now Brand Equity International) with huge name clients such as Kodak International, Levi Strauss and Amoco Oil. Then she moved away to Zurich, Switzerland and worked on the Lufthansa re-branding account for the Swiss international branding firm Zintzmeyer + Luz, for Fortune 500 firms such as Allusuise-Lonza and Reuters, and served as Creative Director of ALS-MND Research Foundation (again, huge). When she returned to America, she started her | own design firm Studio Apriori where clients included the Seattle Children’s Hospital, Qiagen Genomics, Cucina! Cucina! and, yes, Microsoft. Carol knows business – she’s a past president of Seattle’s premier women’s business organization Women Business Owners (WBO) – and she understands the challenges business faces in today’s rapidly evolving economy.
